What a perfect spot. This literal mom and pop place is the cutest little diner I've ever seen. I ordered the waffle combo and I've never had a more perfect waffle in my life. And to quote Lesle Knope "We need to remember what's important in life: friends, waffles, work. Or waffles, friends, work. Doesn't matter, but work is third." So if you want some excellent breakfast food- eat at mom's.

My favorite little breakfast joint, hands down. I tried her Monte Cristo last time and it was absolutely superb! thick slices of flavorful meat dominated the sandwich to perfection. The side fries were sadly undercooked and limp but not important to me. I usually don't eat the side fries anyway, I'm too busy focusing on the star of the plate! My coffee cup is never empty and the cafe is always full of cheerful morning time chatter. I'm happy to call myself a "regular" here.

We have enjoyed breakfast for over 2 years. The best place for a well priced, delicious, breakfast. The O'Brians with sausage are a standout. Always spotless, always polite, smiling lovely staff. Hash browns are homemade, soups are a standout. Highly recommend.

Moms is absolutely the best breakfast/lunch place in town. The cooks are outstanding and Mom is a love. It is old tiny and spotlessly clean. My Mom (who is 93) and I feel like they are family - the best kind - the chosen family. They have daily specials to compliment their regular decently priced menu and my favorite - fresh made French fries. If you are a Neanderthal they also have frozen ones. I must mention the outstanding chicken salad. If you don't like something, (I can't imagine what) just tell them, they will work to fix it. All of the regulars are warm and friendly with Dave an institution. Yeah! Moms!

Had the French Dip with homemade fries. Fries were soaked in oil and old. Sandwich was tiny and tasted over cooked. Wont eat here again.

This place was such a sweet morning stop for us. The restaurant was so quaint and really looked like a family kitchen! The food is simple, hearty, and delicious! I ordered a ham cheese and onion omelet which came also with toast and a pancake. Super good. Riley got a little French toast combo and said the bacon was "SOOOOO GOOOD" and cooked perfectly! The French toast had a nice outer crisp and the meal was just the right size served with an egg also (yay, OJ with no pulp). My dad got a breakfast burrito and gave the thumbs up. The food is good, yes, but the best part of my experience was the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. There was one cook and one server both the sweetest people. They were very kind and helpful. They knew many of the people by name and I remember there was a family in the restaurant and the cook said "I've been cooking for them since they were babies and now they have their own babies!" It was just such a warm and welcoming place with good food and I would definitely recommend it!

Been Going to Mom's Kitchen for years! Always a first day tradition when I visit my grandparents in Oregon. I can't say much on the food because I ALWAYS order french toast with hot chocolate- But my grandparents have tried a few different items and have liked every one of them! Mom always remembers their orders and that cooking staff is talkative and sweet. I am always itching to get in and have my breakfast. As a french toast lover though I can strongly suggest trying it.

Love this place! We stopped by on vacation with all six of the family and found a spot in the little diner. The man who waited on us was super nice and helpful!! Service was great, food came out in a reasonable time, atmosphere was cozy and happy. And we all loved the food! We especially loved the boysenberry syrup!

Great breakfast and GREAT service. Whole eating we got lots of tips on nearby parks. Will probably be back tomorrow.

This is my go to for breakfast if I'm too lazy to make it myself. I've only eaten here for breakfast. Everything that I have eaten has been good. It's a really small diner and they do it "old school". Great Blueberry Pancakes!

Great breakfast. Tiny mom and pop place. Like stepping back to the 50's. Delicious. Nicest service.

Really enjoyed Mom and her breakfast. Standard American food done well. Homemade O'Brien hashbrowns. Very good; not greasy or mushy like most. Good pork sausage. Folgers style coffee. Mom's been there for 32 years.

Breakfast better than home cooked..that is unless you boil up your potatoes let them cool finely shred them and then fry em up stuffed with cream cheese scallions n other good stuff! One of the last places to find real hash browns! Rest is equally as good in a classic small diner setting.

Yummy food and sweet service. We've eaten here about eight or nine years ago. Great family place that is older but charming.

This place is like eating at your moms house. Good food and the sweetest employees! I would have given 5 stars but I ordered a waffle and did not care of it. It had a fortune cookie flavor. Their bacon is perfectly cooked though!!! Cute environment and good breakfast food!

My last meal here was about 2 1/2 years ago. I ordered up a burger for my early noon meal. Less than 3 hours later I was on the throne and splurting it out the back end. I have not eaten there since. Before then, I would go there on occasion and enjoy their hashbrowns and gravy, which were made homestyle and served up in a huge portion. Add in some toast and I would also enjoy a butterhorn heated up with lots of margarine for a sweet treat. If it's breakfast foods, you'll be okay here but the Pancake Mill is much better in that department. Had I not been so thoroughly sickened I would have regularly patronized the place. Two stars instead of one thanks to the memories of past good food. I only let a place poison me once. If you're up for it, roll the dice...LOL!

Mom's Kitchen is a tiny old fashioned diner. The family owned an operated business gives you a warm and familiar atmosphere to enjoy good American comfort food! I highly recommend the corned beef, as it's cooked crisp and pattied. The chicken fried steak is cooked expertly an lightly battered with real sausage gravy. Angle hair like shredded potatoes made fresh will give you a well rounded flavor to any breakfast entree. If you're looking for excellent home cooked breakfast, look no further. With an excellent location right on 101 at the end of the Coos Bay bridge you won't want to miss breakfast here. Parking can be precarious; the options of the steep hill or minuscule parking lot beside it can be a bit daunting so plan a "fly by" into your trip. Very well worth it!
